“Ironically, it is Lions Australia – traditionally seen as an elderly volunteers organisation – that is leading the charge to recruit young members against the likes of Apex, which in the past restricted members’ age to 45 as the service club for younger people.

The creation of youth programs and utilisation of social networking sites will secure the future of service clubs and will ensure proven programs can be maintained.”
